Welcome! I am in my final semester in the Educational Specialist program at Mizzou. In May, I will graduate with my Educational Specialist Degree in Information Systems and Learning Technologies with an emphasis in Technology in Schools. I also hold two degrees from Arkansas Tech University: a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (2006) and a Master's degree in Instructional Technology (2008). For the past 7 years, I have enjoyed being an elementary Library Media Specialist for the Fort Smith Public Schools in Fort Smith, Arkansas. I also serve as tech support for the staff in my building and manage the schools website and all social media. Alternately, I work in partnership with Code.org to provide professional development opportunities for elementary teachers who would like to bring Computer Science education into their classrooms. I travel all over Arkansas as an advocate for Computer Science education for elementary students as a Computer Science Fundamentals Facilitator.

I have been married to my wonderful husband, Joe, for almost 10 years and we have three wonderful children: Nate (7), Caleb Henry (4), and Cora Jean (2). They keep me on my toes and always inspire me to become a better person and learn more about the world.
