Gather Evidence and Research

Now that you have focused your topic into subtopics, it is time to gather information. First, think about what kind of information you need. Do you need primary resources? Quotations? Images? Statistics? Once you know the kinds of information you need, you can make a list of all the possible places in which you can find that information. Here's a sample list:

  • Online Encyclopedias
  • An Expert
  • A Site Visit
  • Audio File
  • Video
  • Online Database
  • Books
  • Websites

Use the Inquiry Log you received from your teacher to keep track of the resources you use as you find information about your topic. Don't forget to make a copy and save it in your Google Drive.
